DESCRIPTION:
France, black slate mantel clock, surmounted with a spelter statue of Aurora on base, c1900
CONDITION:
there are some corner flakes to the slate, and minor edge roughness. Porcelain dial and original hands are very good. The figure of spelter figure of Aurora is bronzed with gold for the globe and her tiara and is original finish and still in excellent condition with minor wear at her knuckles. Ht of clock only = 9" total with statue = 20"
